We are searching for a new Soccer Operations Manager and two Soccer League Assistants to join our team this April.

 

Soccer Operations mAnager

The soccer operations manager is responsible for sustaining and growing WSC’s soccer division. This is a part-time role with potential to grow into a full-time role.

Professional Qualities
-Exhibit a professional, approachable demeanor
-Serve as the main representative of WSC’s soccer division
-Possess strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills
-Must be self-directed and able to take initiative with little direction
-Ability to delegate responsibility

Remote Work
-Ensure league fees and outstanding payments are collected
-Create league schedules and maintain league standings
-Assign referees
-Responsible for promoting leagues and recruiting new players
-Knowledge of soccer rules
-Work directly with WSC directors
-Maintain positive relationships with WSC team members, players, partner facilities, and referees
-Foster a safe, inclusive environment

On-Site Work
-Responsible for WSC’s utility van
-Transport equipment for soccer league
-Administer first aid supplies (i.e. ice packs, band aids)
-Setup soccer goals and equipment with the help of league assistants
-Oversee on-site operations and ensure leagues run smoothly
-Collect basic video clip highlights for social media story feed

Qualifications
-Background in customer service and/or sports management preferred but not required.
-At least one year of customer service, program management, or related experience
-Driver’s license in good standing required

Compensation: Starting at $2000 per month (depending on the candidate’s availability)
Hours estimate: 20-30 hours per week (busier at the start of each season)

Soccer league assistant

The league assistant helps with on-site operations and reports to the Soccer Operations Manager.

Role Duties

-Assist with unloading, handling, and managing soccer goals and all other soccer equipment
-Assist with soccer goals and soccer field setup
-Retrieve soccer balls that leave the field of play
-Ensure all equipment is present before and after setup and teardown
-Assist with tearing down and properly packing soccer goals and all soccer equipment
-Administer first aid supplies to players (i.e. ice packs, band aids)
-Collect basic video clip highlights for social media story feed

Compensation: $18 per hour
Hours estimate: 4-6 hours per week
