League Coordinator – Softball


The softball League Coordinator will run the day-to-day operations for Women’s Sports Chicago’s softball leagues. Duties will include league supervision, inventory management, staff management, customer service and more. The position requires evening and/or weekend hours and roughly 30 hours per month, the majority of which is on site at athletic events. Applicants should be interested in working on the operations side of the adult recreational sports industry. This is a PAID position with a $500 monthly stipend, which also includes additional perks besides the monthly stipend. 


Running operations for Women’s Sports Chicago’s softball League

Supervise the league during scheduled event times

Deliver or help arrange the delivery of equipment to the league location and assist in the set-up process

Assist in processing and collecting team payments, individual payments and team down-payments

Ensure that all players have signed the WSC Online Waiver

Assist in scheduling team match-ups

Provide excellent customer service on site and via email

Manage equipment and T-shirt inventory

Socialize and promote the WSC Brand

Monitor and maintain strong working relationships with League Sponsors

Assist in the player and team recruitment process

Inform players about upcoming WSC leagues, clinics, tournaments and special events


Able to work 30 hours per month, the majority of which will be spent at scheduled league events

Experience in providing excellent customer service directly and through email exchanges

Must be organized, on-time, friendly, outgoing and interested in answering questions & socializing

Preferred Candidate Strengths:



Experience officiating, umpiring or playing the sport which you wish to become a League Coordinator for at an organized level: e.g., Club, High School or College softball.
