“Morning Java” Smoothie

Does summer have you feeling too warm for your morning coffee? Do you love breakfast? Why not combine them both for this caffeine smoothie bomb! Your favorite brew will be the highlight of this smoothie. Paired with fruit and protein rich yogurt, you will be fueled all day and your body will thank you for the energy boost!

Ingredients:

1 cup coffee, brewed and chilled in the fridge

1 large banana, broken into 2-4 pieces

1 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt

1-2 tsp honey or agave (or use truvia or stevia)

Pinch of cinnamon

Ice cubes, as needed, to achieve the desired thickness

Directions:

Blend until smooth.
