Summer Pineapple Mango Salsa

This week I’m taking full advantage of pineapple and mango season by sharing a salsa recipe that could top your favorite snack or protein food! This salsa pairs GREAT with seafood, fish, chicken, or some tortilla chips at your next cookout! Feel free to add some spice using jalapeno, crushed red pepper flakes, or other seasonings of your choice. This salsa is super refreshing and is a nutritious topping to keep your meals lea and your palate happy!

 

Ingredients

2 cups fresh pineapple, diced into cubes 

1 cup fresh mango, diced into cubes

½ red bell pepper, diced

¼ cup red onion, diced

2-3 tablespoons of cilantro (I use the squeeze tube for ease)

the juice of 1 lime (can use lemon here too)

sprinkle of sea salt

Directions

Combine all ingredients in bowl and toss to coat. Serve chilled. Enjoy!
